Former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has stated that his former side has nothing to lose when they visit the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich for the second leg of their round of 16 UEFA champions league tie. The blues were dealt a heavy blow in the first leg as they were comprehensively beaten by the German champions.

The former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker admitted it will be tough for his former side to turn the tie around, but he believes the club can still salvage some pride. He declared that Frank Lampard's side should play without holding anything back. He believes the best of top sides are revealed when they have their back at the wall.

Chelsea held the Bravarian in the first half with a determined performance. The German outfit turned the match around in the second half. Two goals from Serge Gnabry and a late goal from the impressive Lewandowski adding gloss to an already impressive away result.

Lewandowski, 31, scored his 39th goal of the season against Chelsea, in what happened to be his 33rd appearances of the season. The Pole is set to sit out the second leg at the Allianz Arena. Chelsea defense will not be given the daunting task of facing the former Dortmund star. Also missing for the Bavarian is Kingsley Coman. The French international was injured in the group stage. He has not returned since and he is not expected to face Frank Lampard's side.

Chelsea will also be without midfield anchorman Jorginho thorough suspension. Like Jorginho, left back Marcos Alonso will also not be part of the second through suspension. Lampard will also be without Tammy Abraham, the English international is still suffering from a knock he picked during a league match action.
